VertexFlow

blender extension

Coming soon

The VertexFlow blender extension (add-on) is your tool of choice for curved loops and surfaces. No need to manually adjust the many vertices, especially after changes. Let the software interpolate the correct position in space. This way you can focus much more on the creative process. Let’s have a look on the tool.

Edit loop

The Edit command brings vertices of a loop into the desired curvy flow using handles or direct vertex position change.

Two interpolation methods are available to shape the desired curve: ‘Bezier’ and ‘Spline’

If ‘Spline’ is selected in the Edit menu, the Edit command will bring the vertex loop into a spline shape. This spline is defined by control points, even the weight of a control point can be set.

The EDIT command is modal meaning that changes can be applied until it is finished via the right mouse button or a click on the command button that started it.

Re-Build

With Re-Build, complex shapes can be created and updated quickly and precisely. Every vertex is in the correct interpolated position without being manually approximated in a time consuming process.

Re-Build and EDIT can be combined to create complex shapes quickly

Project

In order to close gaps or to achieve complex shapes, it can be handy to combine aspects of two vertex loops into a new one. VertexFlow therefore has a Project command.
